Two new Draper TecVision viewing surfaces achieve ISF certification for color accuracy

Draper TecVision XH1200X Grey and CS1100X ALR have been added to the TecVision line of premium projection surfaces, which continue to maintain ISF certification for color accuracy from the Imaging Science Institute. These surfaces were showcased earlier this year at InfoComm 2024, where Draper highlighted their ongoing advancements in projection technology.
"We were thrilled to achieve ISF certification in time for InfoComm," said Randy Reece, Director of Audiovisual Sales and Marketing for Draper. "Since we first introduced TecVision in 2014, we have regularly expanded the line to meet our customers' evolving needs. By developing and manufacturing these formulations in our Spiceland, Indiana, factory, we ensure we stay ahead of market trends and advancements in projection technology."
As part of this latest update, Draper introduced two new formulations:
- TecVision XH1200X Grey: A 1.2 gain premium matt grey surface designed for high contrast in moderate ambient light, offering wide viewing angles and optimal brightness uniformity.
- CS1100X ALR: Engineered for high ambient light environments with narrow viewing angles, it delivers exceptional contrast, precise resolution, and outstanding color accuracy.
The TecVision lineup, including Reference White, Performance White, Performance Grey, and ALR surfaces, is tailored to specific projection needs such as managing ambient light, wide viewing angles, and underpowered projectors. Each batch undergoes rigorous testing to ensure consistent performance. TecVision surfaces are available in electric and fixed-frame configurations and can feature NanoPerforation for additional versatility.
