Unicel Architectural’s solutions are guaranteed for longevity, optimized for energy efficiency, and customizable to any design, environmental or cultural requirements. Unicel Architectural combines its market leading know-how with great design to help architects impact lives by defining the space within.
Unicel Architectural’s offerings include:
Vision Control®
Vision Control® is the market-leading louvered glazing solution that can be customized to virtually any shape in interior or exterior glazing applications for unmatched function and performance.
Its advanced louvered glazing technology eliminates strings, ensures alignment and requires no maintenance. In interior applications, Vision Control® and Vision Control® Mini offer complete adjustable privacy and visibility and reduce the risk of spreading infection. When installed in exterior applications, Vision Control® significantly reduces energy consumption in support of LEED certification requirements.
Unicel Architectural has a strong track record of supplying Vision Control® systems to many behavioral and mental health centers across Canada and the USA. It's now the gold standard in cord-free integrated louvers product that has passed the AAMA 501.8 Behavioral Health Tests for 2,000 ft-lbs of Human Impact on both Interior and Exterior applications.
With the advent of more frequent and powerful storms, glazing that can resist the punishing high winds of a hurricane or tropical storm has become more important than ever. The latest edition of Vision Control® advanced louvered glazing are certified to withstand hurricane-strength winds and made from multiple glass panes reinforced with a polymer layer. Impact-resistant hurricane-rated windows don't shatter when broken and don't require building owners to install additional storm shutters or other protective devices. Unicel Architectural's hurricane-rated insulating glass units – including those outfitted with Vision Control® and Vision Control® Mini – have received certification for hurricane resistance in the U.S. state of Florida.
Our fire-rated IGU with integrated, cord-free louvers is the perfect solution for buildings that require both fire protection and privacy control. Vision Control® and Vision Control® Mini and Pilkington Pyrostop® fire-rated glazing provide unprecedented privacy control with fire ratings of 20, 45, 60, and 90 minutes for doors, windows, transoms, and sidelights.

Beyond timeless elegance and unmatched visibility, timber curtain walls provide superior construction features in terms of occupant comfort, durability and environmental sustainability. Unicel Architectural’s Therm+ H-I curtain wall systems with proven RAICO technology and high-quality glazing by Unicel Architectural take curtain wall performance to the next level.
Each Therm+ H-I system, available in sizes of 2.2 in. (56mm) or 2.99 in. (76 mm) combines lightweight and elegant design with Passive House certification-level thermal insulation, along with superior wind resistance and greater air tightness than any other curtain wall product on the market.
