About Bullet resistant composite panels
Bullet resistant composite panels
Armortex® manufactures UL Listed Armortex® Bullet and Blast Protection Composite Panels. This material is manufactured using a woven roving ballistic grade cloth we manufacture in-house. The cloth is mechanically injected with resin and placed in a hydraulic hot press, then pressed into flat rigid 3' x 8' and 4' x 8' sheets. By using an anti-ballistic grade fiber in our cloth, we can maximize our ballistic performances by consistently achieving a uniform resin to fiber ratio. This allows the proper ply delamination to encapture projectiles.
At Armortex®, we offer UL Listed products available in protection levels 1-8.
Our Armortex® Bullet and Blast Protection Panels are approved by the U.S. Marshal Service, the General Services Administration, and complies with NIJ standards. Composite panels must be ASTM Method E119-OOa certified.
