Armortex@, the manufacturer of Armortex@ composite fiberglass panels. This composite material is made using woven roving ballistic grade fiber. We weave the cloth in-house where it is mechanically iniected with a thermoset resin and placed in a hydraulic hot press, then pressed into flat rigid sheets available in 3' or 4' widths and lengths of 8', 9' or 10' lengths are available on request. By using a ballistic grade fiber in our cloth, we can maximize our ballistic performances by consistently achieving a uniform resin-to-fiber ratio. This allows the proper de-lamination to encapture projectiles. Our Armortex@ Bullet Resistant Composite Panels are approved by the U. S. Marshal Service, the General Services Administration, and complies with NIJ.
