Sto Corp., the innovative world leader in claddings, air barriers, coatings, and restoration systems, has announced a new partnership with the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI).
Initiated to enhance quality assurance in EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) applications, the initiative provides extended warranty benefits for all AWCI EIFSmart Contractor Seal applicators across North America.
As part of this initiative:
- Two-Year Extension: EIFSmart Contractor Seal applicators installing StoTherm® systems will receive a two-year extension to the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
- Limited Labor Warranty: Additional project protection will be provided through a limited labor warranty.
“Sto is proud to raise the bar on system quality and performance by rewarding certified excellence through extended warranties,” commented Mark Orlando, Vice President, Sales, Sto Corp. “EIFSmart Certified Seal Contractors are the best of the best, and this program recognizes their commitment to craftsmanship.”
This collaboration reflects Sto’s commitment to building envelope performance and accountability. In an era of increasing demand for longevity and reliability in facade systems, the new warranty program provides general contractors and applicators with a meaningful way to differentiate themselves --delivering superior project outcomes while rewarding skilled labor.
“AWCI greatly appreciates Sto's support for the AWCI EIFSmart Contractor Seal. By recognizing current AWCI EIFSmart Contractors with an extended warranty program, as well as incentivizing companies to attain this recognition, Sto is supporting even greater quality and excellence in the application of EIFS," said Michael Stark, CEO of AWCI.
“This partnership helps redefine expectations for quality and peace of mind in building envelope installations,” added Kevin McKean, Field Service Manager at Sto Corp. “By aligning with AWCI’s EIFSmart Contractor Seal program, we’re supporting a higher standard for long-term performance and reliability.
