Sherwin-Williams is expanding its HGTV® HOME by Sherwin-Williams collection with a comprehensive offering of exterior paints, wallpaper and wall decals. These lines complement the HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams line of interior paint and tools that was introduced in June 2011
“Given the tremendous reception from consumers for our HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams interior line, we have developed product extensions that provide a simple way to ensure color confidence from inside to out,” said Jackie Jordan, director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams. “Exteriors are an integral part of our home and have a distinct personality, just like our interiors. This paint line places importance toward color placement, architectural style and consideration for the environment the home resides in.”
The new line of durable, low-VOC exterior paints are available in flat, satin and gloss. Each of the new exterior paint collections feature colors from the interior collections that best coordinate on the exterior. Design guidance is provided to help homeowners create a consistent, harmonious look for the outside of their home. The eight collections are:
- Coastal Cool, a palette that lives and breathes inspiration from the sand, salt and sea
- Neutral Nuance, neutrals combined with the softest hints of color to offer a quiet, understated atmosphere
- Color Pizazz, a palette with colors that reflect an upbeat passion for life and jumps with optimism and energy
- Rustic Refined, a palette that mimics a Tuscan villa or ranch set in the heart of Arizona
- Global Spice, the indulgent, exotic and versatile palette
- Traditional Twist, a collection of classic appeal with unexpected variation
- Livable Luxe, the palette that uses subtlety to create updated variations of a classic, traditional home
- Urban Organic, a palette that uses colors to make old become new again
The new HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams wall coverings collection features books that include wallpaper patterns, textures and wall decals that coordinate perfectly with the interior color collections.
“Wallpaper and wall decals have reemerged in the design world as an easy way to express personal style,” said Jordan. “These new collections will change the way consumers shop for wallpaper — instead of flipping through books of themed collections, looking for something that will match their walls, consumers will now have the ability to explore wall coverings that are specifically created to coordinate with the colors and design style of their home.”
The full line of HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams products will be available in all Sherwin-Williams retail locations on April 1, 2012.
