Initially utilized for outdoor access control, we at Boon Edam have continuously developed our full height turnstiles to fit the needs of the environment, whether that be for interior or exterior unmanned monitoring.

Full Height Turnstiles with the BE Secure Overhead Detection System

Full height turnstiles have been around for a long time and serve as a deterrent to unauthorized entry. Now, with the addition of our BE Secure Overhead Detection System, the Turnlock Series, Models 100, 150 and 200, can effectively prevent unauthorized entry.

BE Secure can be installed on a new model being shipped from the factory, or retrofit onto an existing model previously installed (Turnlock 100 and 150 only). The BE Secure sensor can detect when two people attempt to enter the turnstile using one credential and lock the turnstile, preventing entry.

The BE Secure system also has a Walk-Away detection capability that will know when a person has presented their authorization, been approved allowing the turnstile to be unlocked, started to enter and then backed out. So, it will know the person did not enter into the secured area and will immediately lock the turnstile.
