'The Fish and Chip Shop' chooses a fancy Howe Green access cover

We recently supplied an access cover solution to a fancy London “chippy” - The Fish & Chip Shop in Islington. One of the most popular of British cuisines, a true British institution, fish, chips (or French fries) and mushy peas forms the mainstay of the menu of this restaurant and take away.

The interior and exterior of the building have been designed to deliver an authentic blend of industrial and vintage styling, with colorful prints, 1940’s furniture, bare light bulbs and clapboard panels.

A 5000 series aluminum access cover was fitted into the quarry-tiled steps leading to The Fish & Chip Shop’s impressive show kitchen. The floor access cover unobtrusively covers all the kitchen’s essential mains drainage services and provides fast access to them, ensuring easy maintenance.
