About Symmetrix Precision Faucets for the Kitchen and Lavatory
Symmetrix Precision Faucets for the Kitchen and Lavatory
Since Paul Symmons invented the first fully pressure balancing, anti-scald shower valve over 60 years ago, our company has been dedicated to designing and building the highest quality plumbing products available anywhere. It is our belief that a Symmons product should last the life of the building. To that end, we proudly introduce the full line of Symmetrix® single and two handle faucets.
Designed and manufactured utilizing the latest CAD/CAM technology to meet the high standards of today's design professional, Symmetrix faucets are available for a wide variety of commercial and institutional applications. Backed by the legendary Symmons name for quality, you can be assured you are specifying products that deliver the highest performance available in faucet technology, while meeting all known codes and standards.
Beneath the contemporary styling of every Symmetrix faucet you'll find a heart machined of solid brass and copper. Built to withstand the abuse of time and guaranteed to provide flawless performance under the broadest range of water conditions, our full line of faucets feature the state-of-the-art Symmetrix ceramic control cartridge.
Ceramic is second only to diamond in hardness and wear resistance, and the patented Symmetrix cartridge design features extra thick, 100% corrosion-resistant ceramic discs, which prevent "cracking" that can occur with thinner ceramic discs. The full port design on the cartridge inlets combined with the patented disc design provides maximum flow rate at extremely low noise levels. By utilizing a "shearing action", the ceramic discs shut off water flow while minimizing water hammer. The cartridge is virtually unaffected by extremes in water temperature, hardness, and supply line debris. The cartridges are interchangeable between kitchen and lavatory faucets.
Symmetrix single handle faucets, as with all Symmons products, were designed with safety in mind and feature a handle limit stop, which allows the setting of a safe maximum temperature and helps prevent scalding. The valve can be shut off at any temperature setting within the handle limit range from full hot to full cold. This temperature memory feature allows for repeated activation to previous temperatures until the handle is re-positioned.
