About Commercial Centrifugal
Commercial Centrifugal
Direct Drive and Belt Drive Centrifugal Inline Fans are widely used in square ducts as clean air boosters in both supply and exhaust systems where the installation of convetional blowers is impractical. Their compact design gives designers an excellent alternative to conventional blowers. Centrex Inliner fans can be installed either horizontally, vertically or at any angle determined by the duct work. Full size removable panels enable easy access to the fan interior.
Tubular Model REX Direct Drive and Belt Drive Centrifugal Inline Fans. Efficient aluminum, backwardly inclined wheels and aerodynamic straightening vanes give the Centrex a quiet efficiency unmatched by competitive models.
Domex Direct Drive and Belt Drive Centrifugal Roof Exhausters are designed for roof mounted installations in low to medium pressure applications. Domex Fans are ideal for general purpose exhaust applications including: bathrooms, garages, general kitchen areas, offices, churches, dormitories, factories, large warehouses, and other relatively clean air applications.
LC Dynafan units are completely self-contained packaged exhaust systems. Direct drive units are effective at providing a quiet steady exhaust at moderate resistance. Belt-driven LC Dynafans offer a wide range of sizes. Units are low and inconspicuous, with a unique design that features motor mounting beside the wheel rather than atop the wheel.
Centrifugal Fans are SWSI, Class I, Arrangement 4 and 10 general purpose air moving devices. They are used for supply or exhaust applications in commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC systems. At the heart of the Dynamo is a computer-designed, backward inclined, centrifugal wheel. This heavy-duty non-overloading aluminum wheel assures low noise and high efficiency performance.
The PennBarry™ Efficient Silent Array is a modular, direct drive plenum fan with a flexible and scalable design. Fully capable in standalone applications, the Efficient Silent Array excels as a matrix solution to provide increased system performance and maximize system uptime while lowering overall cost.
Fumex Direct and Belt Drive Centrifugal Upblast Roof Exhausters are designed for medium to high pressure applications. While suitable for general ventilation, Fumex fans are specially designed to discharge contaminated or grease-laden air or heat/smoke up and away from building surfaces. The optional Fatrap restaurant grease exhaust configuration makes Fumex fans particularly suited for all food service applications and chemical fume hoods. Additionally, the heat & smoke configuration is used in case of emergencies or high-temperature exhaust applications.
The versatile Linea centrifugal roof exhauster offers a wide use in types of industrial, commercial, and public building applications, and answers the need for an efficient roof exhauster contained in an aesthetically correct housing. Linea exhausters are used on school buildings, churches, hospitals, apartments, motels, shopping centers, factories, and commercial buildings as well as all types of government facilities and in every climate condition.
Model MXI is the most efficient tubular inline mixed flow fan in the market. Designed to be compact and lightweight. Level 1 or level 2 construction available. Capable of up to 8" w.g. Available in 17 sizes ranging from 122 thru 600 with a wide variety of features and options to fit a large range of applications.
Filtered Supply, belt drive, side intake centrifugal fans are designed for roof mounted installations in low to medium pressure applications. FS Muffans are ideally suited to provide filtered fresh air for kitchen areas to meet applicable NFPA96 code, as well as general applications such as auditoriums, offices, churches, dormitories, and factories.
Make-up Filtered Fresh Air Supply centrifugal fans for commercial and industrial use. PennBarry's Muffan replaces foul or contaminated air that is removed by a building's exhaust system. Such make-up air is so essential that it is part of safety and building code requirements for commercial kitchens, chemical laboratories, electrical control rooms, and where gas equipment is installed. Proper make-up air provisions should be part of every building plan.
Two new powered roof ventilator models, PRU (upblast) and PRD (downblast) are designed for roof mounted installations in low to medium pressure applications.
Powered Roof Ventilators - Downblast (PRD) are ideal for general purpose exhaust applications including: bathrooms, garages, general kitchen areas, offices, churches, dormitories, factories, large warehouses, and other relatively clean air applications.
Powered Roof Ventilators - Upblast (PRU) are designed for medium to high pressure applications. While suitable for general ventilation, these fans are specially designed to discharge contaminated or grease-laden air or heat/smoke up and away from building surfaces. Additionally, the heat & smoke configuration is suitable for limited duration, one-time use at high temperature for emergency smoke exhaust.
SQX fans can be used in square ducts as clean air boosters in both supply and exhaust systems where the installation of conventional blowers is impractical, the SQX is an excellent choice due to its compact design. As an integral part of a ventilation system layout, SQX fans can be installed either horizontally, vertically, or at any angle determined by the duct work. Direct-drive motors are isolated from the airstream. Belt drive motors are mounted on the outside housing and can be positioned at any angle to avoid existing building obstructions. SQX fans feature durable galvanized steel construction (aluminum optional). The centrifugal wheels are aluminum, non-overloading, backwardly inclined, robotically welded, and dynamically balanced.
The UVS is a SWSI, Class 0 and 1, Arrangement 4 and 10 general purpose air moving device. It is for use in general ventilation applications for commercial, institutional, and industrial HVAC systems. The UVS utilizes a Backward Inclined Non-Overloading Wheel.
Ceiling and Inline centrifugal fans are designed and constructed to create a quiet and reliable product. Extensive combinations of wheel sizes and speeds enable the Zephyr to cover a wide range of CFM. All Zephyrs feature acoustically insulated housings, custom-designed blower and motor pairings, motor mounted on vibration isolators, and for all but the smallest Z3H, dual inlet blowers.
Single and Twin unit belt drive centrifugal Cabinet fans are general purpose duct blowers. These versatile, quiet operating air movers provide economical, convenient, and effective ventilation in ducted systems. They are also used extensively in heating and cooling systems. ZC units are sized with space-saving in mind and furnished with inlet and outlet connecting flanges and side access panels as standard.
