PennBarry fan manufacturer announced the next generation line of powered roof ventilators, called the PRV series which features both model PRD Downblast and model PRU Upblast.

PRD fans are ideal for general purpose exhaust applications. PRU fans are specifically designed to discharge contaminated, grease-laden air, heat and smoke. They are also suitable for life safety emergency smoke exhaust situations and can be used with smoke control systems.

PRV series are made from a durable aluminum and galvanized construction, with direct drive and belt drive options available. Featuring a dynamically balanced highly efficient backward inclined non-overloading aluminum wheel. To add to their durability they use heavy-duty, air handing quality bearings sized for Basic Life Rating (L10) of 100,000 hours.

For ease of installation and maintenance the PRV series features tool-free motor compartment access and integral lifting lugs.
