Merkrete Introduces Pro Patch All-In-One

Parex USA, Inc., the parent company of leading building material brands; Merkrete, Parex, Teifs, LaHabra and El Rey, announced the launch of Merkrete Pro Patch All-in-One, a fast setting, polymer modified patching compound specifically formulated as an embossing leveler for the finishing and smoothing of interior subfloors.

Pro Patch All-In-One was specifically formulated to smooth and finish substrates prior to the installation of luxury vinyl tiles, vinyl sheet goods and vinyl composition tile (VCT). It can also be used prior to the installation of carpet and glued-down floor coverings, ceramic tile and stone.

"Pro Patch All-In-One sets Merkrete apart from traditional products in the market place because it is the first patching compound that does not require extra additives, like a latex emulsion, for applications over existing vinyl. The polymer is already incorporated into the product to promote the bonding between the patching compound and the subfloor, and only the addition of water is necessary when using Pro Patch All-in-One," says Luciano Tavares, Brand Manager for Merkrete.
