SMA's September 16 meeting presentation -- Air barriers remain a necessary and important part of the wall assembly.
This presentation will cover:- The requirements and testing for air barriers
- The codes and standards that are driving their use
- How NFPA 285 and Title 24 limit which air barriers you can use

Herman Lopez – Business Development Manager, DuPont Building InnovationsHerman Lopez is a Commercial Business Development Manager with DuPont Building Innovations. He is based in Fort Collins, CO, and responsible for commercial business development throughout Western U.S. representing DuPont Weatherization Systems. He has over 20 years’ sales and business development experience in the commercial and residential markets, having worked for Simpson Strong-Tie, Azek Trimboards and DuPontTM Building Innovations. He is also active with CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) and BEC (Building Enclosure Council). He speaks at many AIA-BEC chapter meetings throughout the U.S. as a representative of DuPont.
