Our medium duty floor acces hatch offers quick, easy and safe access to concealed services in areas with hard flooring where a heavier loading is required. The medium duty floor access cover is available in aluminum or stainless steel depending upon your requirements.

What type of floor finish is the medium duty cover typically used for?

You can use the 7500 Series in all types of hard floor finish. Over the last 30 years it has been installed in terrazzo, ceramic tiles, marble, resin, concrete, wood and parquet floors.

What level of performance does it give?

The 7500 Series can take a loading up to 5 ton pneumatic tire wheel load, suitable for cars and light delivery vehicles. Ideal access solution for situations where heavier duty tamper resistant access is required.

Where would I use the medium floor access hatch?

The 7500 Series has evolved from our first ever access hatch – the 750 - which was developed for the supermarket sector in 1983. Since then this medium duty floor access hatch has been used in car showrooms; indoor shopping malls, athletics centers and sports stadia. It offers a tried and tested solution to accessing mechanical equipment and floor based building services.

The stainless steel version of the 7500 can also be used for external paved areas where a larger size access cover maybe required to cover drainage or perhaps where a thicker flooring is required.

The show edge for the 7500 Series is manufactured from a choice of aluminum, brass or Coloredge high impact pvc with steel baseplate and reinforcement.

Stainless Steel

The stainless steel medium duty floor hatch has a show edge manufactured from stainless steel with steel baseplate and reinforcement.
