What is this product?

Our hinged floor access door is available as an aluminum or stainless steel hatch. It has been designed to provide easy and safe access to concealed services which require regular access and in environments where a heavier loading is needed.

What type of floor finish is it used for?

The HSE 75 Series is used for hard floor finishes, such as terrazzo, marble, ceramic tiles, wood or parquet floors, concrete, resin.

What level of performance does it give?

The HSE 75 is suitable for medium duty performance up to 5 ton pneumatic tire wheel load. It can take the load of cars and light delivery vehicles.

Where would I use this product?

The HSE 75 is ideally suited for use in basement areas, plant rooms or any areas that require regular access to services
Public buildings where the Health and Safety of the general public and employees is crucial would also benefit from the use of the HSE 75, for example railway stations.

Swimming pools and other "wet" areas where access to plant and equipment is required on a regular basis.

Materials

The show edge on the HSE 75 is manufactured from stainless steel with a steel baseplate and reinforcements.

A HSE 75 Series access hatch when filled and installed correctly will require a maximum force of 44lb to open

The options available for the HSE 75 are:

• Underside release latch

• Double seal

• 3 hour fire rating to BS 476: Part 20: 1987 for single hatch

• 2 hour fire rating to BS 476: Part 20: 1987 for duct and other variations.
