Our flexible architecture allows system administrators and users to quickly create, manage, and support sophisticated workflows where tasks are structured and work procedures are automated. Communication is improved with automatic workflow messages delivered via Document Locator’s internal messaging system and/or externally via email, based on conditional process steps in a document’s life cycle. Even remote users are able to directly interact with Document Locator’s workflow management software through the optional WebTools Module.

Notification and Approval functionality allows each user to easily create, save, and reuse personal workflows to automate document management tasks. A Notification and Approval workflow can route documents for review and approval, or notify other users of a document change.

Workflow Management Software
The optional Automated Workflow Module extends Notification and Approval by allowing users to create and name complex workflows that can be linked together and reused by others within the document management system. This advanced automated workflow management system can also link to external business applications for additional automation. Workflow operations can take place via the Document Locator client and/or via email, making workflow automation available wherever and whenever your users need it.
