Floor Access Doors

Floor access doors provide reliable access to equipment stored underground or below/between building floors. Models include drainage doors, non-drainage doors, doors designed to receive flooring materials, doors for interior building applications, and fire rated floor doors, as well as a number of special application doors.

Aluminum Construction

Ideal for most corrosive environments, aluminum floor access doors are available for pedestrian and H-20 wheel loading applications. Products can be supplied with or without a drainage channel frame and in a number of standard single and double leaf sizes. Custom sizes can also be specified.

Steel Construction

Steel floor access doors are supplied with a red oxide primer finish and are available for pedestrian and H-20 wheel loading applications. Products can be supplied with or without a drainage channel frame and in a number of standard single and double leaf sizes. Custom sizes can also be specified.

For Finished Flooring

BILCO offers a complete line of floor doors that are designed to accept flooring and paving materials, making them virtually hidden in finished flooring areas. Products are available to receive composition tile, carpeting, or architectural flooring materials up to 1" (25 mm) in thickness.

Fire Rated

Fire rated floor doors maintain the fire rating of a 2-hour floor/ceiling assembly where access is required between building floors. Products feature an optional automatic closing system, intumescent fire resistant coating, and a pan cover designed to accept architectural flooring materials.

Special Application

BILCO offers a number of special application doors to satisfy unique access requirements. Products include emergency evacuation doors for transit systems, precast doors, special sizes, and doors reinforced for extreme loading conditions.
