Founded in 1971, Alliance Steel, Inc. has grown to be a premier manufacturer of metal buildings and related components. Current management has been in place for over 25 years.

In 1996 Alliance built and moved into a 235,000 sq. ft. facility on 56 acres. The plant was designed with a "two-of-everything" approach, so that, for example, downtime on one automatic welding line or purlin line would not prevent orders from being filled on schedule—even if doing so required working the other line around the clock.

Our company attitude is one of continuous improvement, and we are happy to be able to say that our customers have responded positively. Their support brought about expansion, which in turn created the need for more manufacturing capacity. As of 2004 our shop and office space exceeds 320,000 sq. ft. What went into the new space, however, is the real story. For example, in 2003 we installed sophisticated computer-driven plasma cutting lines and material handling systems for our welding shop, and in October 2004 our engineering, drafting and detailing departments moved into a new 30,000 sq. ft. office with state-of-the-art electronic connectivity. In September 2004 we inaugurated a 50,000 sq. ft. shop to house our new Alliance Structural division to fabricate Class-A structures. In an industry in which many production facilities resemble nothing so much as the blacksmith shops of yesteryear, the new Alliance Structural facility uses only top-of-the-line computer-driven equipment into which design configurations are downloaded to the production machinery directly from drafting.

Alliance Steel is—and will continue to be—on the leading edge of the metal building industry. We will do whatever it takes to be the best of the best. We are long-time members of the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA), we are certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), and our standing seam roofs are certified I-90 by Factory Mutual (FM).

The expansion of our production facility is only the outward evidence of the accumulated experience and expertise at Alliance. Without talented and dedicated people to make it work, even the best facility in the world would be little more than a warehouse. We have the most advanced production facility in the industry, but it is the Alliance team that makes it work for you. The core management team has spent the majority of their adult lives making Alliance Steel what it is.
