Leading UK access cover manufacturer Howe Green is following up new opportunities in the North America having exhibited at Construct Canada recently.

Over 30,000 people attended Canada's largest construction exposition and conference at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, giving Howe Green access to key buyers and decision-makers from the country’s building, construction and design industry. Exhibiting alongside its North American distributor, FF Systems Inc, Howe Green showcased an extensive range of high quality stainless steel and aluminum floor access covers, wall panels and ceiling hatches. Furthermore, the show provided occasion to demonstrate the firm’s unique ability to design bespoke solutions and solve specific access issues for some of the world’s most demanding projects.

Canada’s construction industry accounts for more than 7 percent of gross domestic product. It is one of Canada’s leading and fastest growing industries with the City of Vancouver reporting $2.83-billion worth of commercial and residential permits issued in 2014, a 28 per cent jump compared to 2013.

“This was our first tentative step into the Canadian market,” commented Richard Centa, Howe Green’s Sales and Marketing Director. “It was a very busy show with plenty of activity and lots of genuine interest in our products. We are working closely with our North American distributor and will maintain our focus there throughout 2015.
