The Biscayne Shutterless ™ line of products by TRACO has just introduced a full line of thermal aluminum impact coastal area windows and doors with certifications that include American Architectural Manufacturer Association (AAMA), National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), Energy Star, the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). The 2 ¾” thermally broken frame has been designed to keep the inside environment comfortable regardless of the outside weather. The Aluminum frames are ideal for coastal markets because they are structurally strong and won’t rot, bow, warp or fade in heavy rain and blazing sun. The insulated laminated glass provides an added layer of protection from the cold and heat. The Shutterless™ thermal products eliminate the need to spend time putting up plywood or waste storage space when not in use and provide continual added protection. Biscayne products include––single hung, sliding, casement and fixed windows and sliding glass doors and terrace doors.

TRACO’s five manufacturing facilities, totaling approximately 2 million square feet, are located in Cranberry Township, PA (north of Pittsburgh), Johnson City, TN, Bainbridge, GA, Red Oak, IA and Miami, FL. The company manufactures products for retrofit, new construction and historic projects utilizing state-of-the-art systems. TRACO’s capabilities include glass laminating, glass tempering, anodizing, paint finishing, aluminum extruding and glass insulating. Established in 1943 by Mae and E.R. Randall, TRACO now employs more than 1,800 Team Members. Memorable landmark projects include, handcrafting the windows for the crown of the Statue of Liberty and manufacturing more than 6,000 windows for the Empire State Building.
