Based on Air Movement and Control Association, Inc.
(AMCA) Standard 500-75 using test set-up Figure 5.5:
D675, 12-in. (305-mm) diameter, 0.096 in. wc at 589 scfm
D675, 24-in. (610-mm) diameter, 0. 100 in. wc at 2366 scfm
Leakage Characteristics:
Based on AMCA Standard 500-75 using test set-up Figure 5.5:
D675, 12-in. (305-mm) diameter, 4.3 cfm at 1 in. wc
D675, 24-in. (610-mm) diameter, 43.1 cfm at 1 in. wc
Refer to the following leakage multiplier chart for leakage at pressures other than 1 in. wc:
Static Pressure in In. WC |
Multiplier |
1 |
1.00 |
EXAMPLE:
Leakage for 12-in. (305-mm) diameter Damper at 4 in. wc (2.00 x 4.3) = 8.6 cfm
Shipping Weight:
Multiply Damper circumference (diameter x 3.141) by a multiplier according to the following table:
Model |
Multiplier |
|
For Pounds |
For Kilograms |
|
D670 |
0.5 |
0.009 |
EXAMPLE 1:
Calculate the weight in pounds of a 12-in. diameter D670 Damper:
1. Find circumference:
12 in. x 3.141 = 37.7 in. circumference
2. Multiply circumference by pounds multiplier (from table):
37.7 x 0.5 = 18.9 lb
EXAMPLE 2:
Calculate the weight in kilograms of a 406-mm diameter D675 Damper:
1. Find circumference:
406 rum x 3.141 = 1275 rum circumference
2. Multiply circumference by kilograms multiplier (from table):
1275 x 0.005 = 6.38 kg
