GENERAL
The Excel 10 Q7751A Router is an integrated device that connects
two E-Bus segments and routes messages between them. The
Q7751A Router allows a total of 120 nodes on the two E-Bus
segments. Additional E-Bus segments can be added to the network
with each Excel 10 Q7750A Zone Manager and Q7751A Router.
Network operations for the router are performed on a twisted pair
E-Bus network. Use the standard power supply included with the
router. For permanent installations, use a mounting bracket to wall
mount the Q7751A Router.
DESCRIPTION
The Excel 10 Q7751A Router is an integrated device that connects
two E-Bus segments and routes messages between them. The
Q7751A Router allows a total of 120 nodes on the two E-Bus
segments. Additional E-Bus segments can be added to the network
with each Excel 10 Q7750A Zone Manager and Q7751A Router
(subject to C-Bus 30 node limit). Network operations for the router
are performed on a twisted pair E-Bus network. Use the standard
power supply included with the router. For permanent installations,
use a mounting bracket to wall mount the Q7751A Router.
SPECIFICATIONS
The Q7751A Router is a one-piece construction, externally wired
device. The router is connected to two E-Bus segments via two
RJ-45 to twisted pair adapter cables included . The twisted pair
ends of the adapter cable, the termination module wires and the
E-Bus twisted pair ends are connected for each E-Bus segment.
Power Supply
The standard power supply is 9V at 500 mA with the connector
plugs outer barrel positive (+) and the tip negative (-).
Power On LED is located on the back of the Q7751A Router.

Transceiver Type:
The Q7751A Router uses a transformer isolated, differential
Manchester transceiver.
Status Information:
Two service LEDs (service 1 and service 2) on the back of the
Q7751A Router, indicate service request information for each
segment.
Status LED indicates when network traffic is occurring.
Service request button, for broad-casting the neuron ID on the E-Bus,
is located on the back of the Q7751A Router.
Mounting Options:
For permanent installations, the Q7751A Router can be wall mounted
using a Q7751A Router Mounting Bracket. See Excel 10 Q7751A
Router Installation Instructions, form 95-7510, for details.
