GENERAL

The C7750A is a direct wired temperature sensor that is used to sense discharge or return air in a duct that may be controlled by an Excel 10 Controller. The C7750A Sensor consists of a temperature sensitive 20K ohm thermistor that is connected on a circuit board to two linearizing resistors in a series-parallel configuration.

Sensor Temperature Accuracy

The sensor gives the following temperatures when each of the following resistances, from the two wires on the sensor, is applied to the input terminals of a controller such as an Excel 10. See Table 1.

The C7750A Sensor is intended for NEMA class 2 wiring.

Input Rating:

0.5 mA pulsed constant current.

Mounting Options:

The C7750A Sensor can be mounted on a flat duct or plenum surface or (for a plenum-rated application) in a standard utility conduit box.

    Probe Length: (Including mechanical strain relief) 6-1/2 in. (165 mm).

    Probe Diameter:  3/8 in. (13 mm). Mechanical strain relief on the flange end of probe is 1/2 in. (13 mm) diameter.
