4.TEST & CODE COMPLIANCE:

Fire Label: Classified By UL For Application To Swinging

Type Fire Doors of the Hollow Metal or Steel

Covered composite type Rated up to 3 Hours, or

Wood Core Fire Doors rated up to 1-1/2

Hours Listed and Labeled as Gasketing

Materials. Tested in accordance with UL10B

by Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. .

Smoke Label: Smoke tested by WYLE Laboratories in

accordance with UL 1784-90; meets the

requirements of NFPA 105.

Handicapped: Threshold complies with CABO/ANSI A117.1-

1992; ADA 1990; ADAAG 1991 Guidelines.

5.INSTALLATION:

Installation to be performed in strict accordance with

manufacturers instructions furnished with product.

Threshold: Carefully cope to fit within frame opening.

Fasten with flat head wood or machine screws provided

and appropriate anchors as required. Use sealant or

compound at all edges and joints

Door Bottom: Cut to length equal to door width,crimp

ends of brush backing to retain bristles. Fasten to

bottom of door, locate screws in center of slots.

Adjust for proper contact with floor and tighten screws.

Perimeter Gasketing:Trim to length, crimp ends of brush

backing to retain bristles. Fasten to header first, then

jambs, ensure contact at threshold, hold lightly against

door and install screws in center of slots (drill metal

frame 7/64" or #36) Carefully miter or cope at corners

to ensure tight joints and continuous seal. Adjust as

required and tighten screws.

Meeting Stile Astragals: Cut astragals to match door

height. Install on inactive leaf first and adjust so as

not to interfere with active leaf closing. Install on

active leaf, adjust as required to seal.

6 WARRANTY:

Guaranteed by manufacturer against defects in material

or workmanship for three years.
