4. TEST & CODE COMPLIANCE

Fire Label: Classified By UL For Application To Swinging

Type Fire Doors of the Hollow Metal or Steel

Covered composite type Rated up to 3 Hours, or

Wood Core Fire Doors rated up to 1-1/2 Hours.

Listed and Labeled as Gasketing Materials.

Tested in accordance with UL10B by Underwriters

Laboratory, Inc. .

Smoke Label: Smoke tested by WYLE Laboratories in accordance

with UL 1784-90; meets the requirements of NFPA

105.

5. INSTALLATION:

Installation to be performed in strict accordance with

manufacturer's instructions furnished with product.

. Trim and fasten base unit to header stop first, then trim and

attach to jambs, ensuring contact at threshold. Carefully

miter or cope at corners to ensure tight joints and

continuous seal. Install screws in center of slots. Press

lightly against door to assure good seal. Note: do not over

tighten - installer should be able to slip business card

between seal and door. After best seal attained, tighten

screws. Trim snap-on covers to suit and snap on to previously

installed header and jambs.

6. WARRANTY:

Guaranteed by manufacturer against defects in material or

workmanship for 3 years.
