What is this product?

Our small access floor hatch is an aluminum floor access cover which is used to provide easy and safe access to concealed services in hard flooring.

What type of floor finish is it used for?

The small floor hatch can be used with a diverse range of hard flooring finishes, for example – terrazzo, marble, concrete, parquet flooring, ceramic tiles or resin.

What level of performance does it give?

This floor access hatch is ideally suited for pedestrian traffic, wheeled trolleys and sack trucks.

In what applications would I use the small floor hatch?

The small aluminum floor hatch is generally used in refurbished buildings rather than new builds.

It is perfect for projects where access to a small space is required, for instance to reach a floor safe in a bedroom or a stopcock in a kitchen or bathroom.

The 3500 Series can also be used in a building with a solid floor which have a limited depth but where access is still required, e.g. 2nd floor buildings.

If you have a ground floor buildings with a concrete floor and cutting into the concrete is not the most feasible option to access concealed services the small aluminum floor hatch provides an ideal solution. It makes access easy and safe.
